WELCOME TO OUR FIRST EDITION!
I am really excited to launch the first Angelface newsletter. Since Angelface began in 2003, I have designed for many parents and this is a great way to stay in touch and let you know of our latest services.
Whether you need your current display updated, or a fresh new display, we'd love to hear from you. As well as designing with the photos of your children's gorgeous faces, we now also work with their drawings and transform them into canvas masterpieces.
There's so much creative energy bubbling away - we can't wait to see your photos - or drawings!
Happy reading, particularly take note of our special offers for Spring...

A reminder to those who entered the competition - For simply entering and having an Australian Baby Card you'll receive a 30% discount on any sized display or canvas up until 30 November, 2007.Take advantage of this great offer!
How to take great photos of your kids
You don't have to be a professional photographer to take amazing photos of your child. Don't forget also that it's our job to enhance your favourite photos and make them more beautiful and professional.
The biggest advantage you have as a parent with a camera is that your children are comfortable around YOU. They will be their natural selves, so try and capture that when taking photos. Be subtle with the camera. Be patient. Great stuff will happen when your children are relaxed and having fun. When kids are thinking about having to 'smile for the camera', it can disturb their natural personalities.
It doesn't matter if you are photographing with a film or a digital camera. Film pictures have a certain quality that digital hasn't quite replicated yet. However, some of the new digital cameras can be sophisticated and easy to use. Digital will also allow you to shoot more and show you instantly what you're getting. This is a magnificent way to learn to take pictures.
Ok folks, let's get those cameras and kids together and make some magic!

On display at Babies Galore
The product page on the Angelface website shows how a block mounted image looks. However, it can still be difficult to picture it, particularly if you've never touched the finish of a block mounted image. Babies Galore in Chatswood has kindly offered to display an example of an Angelface block mounted photo shown four different ways - black & white, sepia, hand-tint and colour.
So if you're in Sydney and you're passing through Chatswood, pop into the Babies Galore store at the Mandarin Centre and take a look. The images are on display on the wall behind the front counter.
Canvas Masterpieces
A large canvas of your child's fantastic drawing or painting can have as much impact as our popular block mounted Image Displays.
We will transform the best elements of their original work into masterpieces. Email a high resolution digital photo of the artwork and your chosen canvas size. Leave the rest up to us!
Display of the Season
Many fabulous photos came our way throughout winter. Photos taken by Akiko and Richard of their two sons Ewan and Jake were among the best I've seen. Their personalities were captured over time by photographing cheeky and adorable expressions.
This display is a mixture of black & white and colour which is a beautiful effect adding warmth and depth to the images. Akiko tells me they can't wait to mount the display on their freshly painted wall, which apparently hasn't been done yet!
We hope you all took many photos of your beautiful children over winter. Snap away this Spring!
Special Spring Offers - valid until 30 November, 2007
